"Chicago guitarist and songwriter Brett Ratner has released his debut EP. You may be familiar with Ratner’s work intentionally or unintentionally through the countless TV shows, films and commercials he’s written for (LadyBird, Shameless, The Office, etc.)

Only three songs total, each song is packed with a ton of individuality showing off Ratner’s versatility as a musician. The charm of this modest EP is that Ratner reunites with vocalist Mônica da Silva for “Caribbean Street Fest.” Ratner originally met Silva when she moved to Chicago in 2007 and helped record Silva’s debut album.
